Second what Amanda says, Woodbridge is great! A little more lively than the other towns, I’d say. Check out http://www.choosewoodbridge.co.uk, they’re also on Facebook. As it’s on the river, it’s gorgeous in the summer months particularly, with great local amenities & schools.

My kids are in the state St Mary’s which has a great rep as do pretty much all the other primaries in the town. Farlingaye is a great local secondary comp. Woodbridge school is really good apparently though I don’t have first hand experience, just what I hear on the grapevine.

Easton’s beautiful – very villagey and countryfied if that floats your boat – great nursery & nice local pub there.

Framlingham’s very picturesque too with lots of nice independent shops, a market & things to do. Fram also great for schools for all ages.

If you want beautiful picturesque you can’t go far wrong with Woodbridge, Easton or Framlingham – anywhere in this area of Suffolk ticks the box. You might also like to check out Waldringfield if you like the water / sailing. And further up the road, Wickham Market / Saxmundham are also sweet.

Just outside Woodbridge, the villages of Melton and Ufford are pretty. Ufford has an amazing community, and even it’s own magazine https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ufford-PUNCH/221161087932629?fref=ts.

    Hope this helps!
