Does anyone have any feedback on Barfield School near Farnham? We went to see it yesterday for our daughter and loved the outside space and facilities they have but just haven’t heard anything about it (apart from a scandal with a previous headmaster a few years ago) and it seemed very small.

We are in the process of trying to move to Guildford so are a bit unsure of whether we will be settled by the time the deadline for state schools comes in early next year so we are looking at all our options. The primary schools that would be within catchment are Onslow Infant School and St Nicholas. Any help or advice on the above would be really helpful and much appreciated, thank you.

My kids all went through Barfield and we have been more than happy.

    Another Twitter follower says:
“Have heard nothing but good things about Barfield – a great school with some fantastic facilities. Thumbs up I would say.”

As a local estate agent we keep our ears to the ground and all we have heard is excellent commentary

One point to consider is travel in the morning. Despite Farnham only being ten miles from Guildford, it’s not a quick journey at commute time in the morning. Allow an hour!
