Why Choose West Sussex
West Sussex offers what many would term as the best of both worlds. It’s proximity to London and the Coast means you can be on the beach or in the Capital in no time at all.
Much of the County is taken up by the South Downs which form a huge part of the Southern part of West Sussex. It’s the third largest national park in the UK with 4 market towns and 2000 miles of walks - including the well known South Downs Way.
It’s a protected area which stretches all the way to the coast, forming a peaceful backdrop to the more heavily developed coastal area. The Weald area, historically remote and with a reputation for being isolated, is now home to popular attractive towns such as Horsham, Midhurst and Steyning.
The South Coast area of West Sussex offers opportunities to enjoy the sweeping beaches in villages such as Worthing, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis.
West Sussex is full of pretty villages, many of which retain their strong sense of community. If you’re looking for the countryside lifestyle, you’ll probably be best searching the South and West of the County.
