We’ve found a house that we love in Woking. However, the only primary schools that it is in the catchment area for are Westfield and Barnsbury primary schools.
Both of these are Ofsted good but I don’t have any more information.

Can anyone recommend or shed light on whether these schools would be any good?
(I know that the good schools in Woking are Goldsworth and Horsell but unfortunately haven’t had any luck finding in their catchments).

Any advice on whether we should let the house go as the state school options aren’t suitable would be appreciated!

    Many thanks

    Hi Jessica

As you say, both these schools are Ofsted rated “good”. Schools are a bit like houses, some will suit you better than others – it might be an excellent school and still not suit your children. My only advice would be to go and look round both schools during a normal school day and see what you think. Ask to speak to parents who have children there.

You also say you can’t find the catchment areas for Goldsworth Park and Horsell Schools – do you mean you can’t find a property in their catchment areas? If you need help, let me know.

    Good luck

Jessica go to http://www.curchods.com, then info and schools. That will give you some good intel school by school.

Our local office informs me both are good schools. Here is a link to Barnsbury PTA website. I can’t find a Westfield PTA website
