Hi, I am about to move to Haywards Heath and have a 19 month old and would love to get some local input on things to do with him in the area.

a very helpful reply on twitter from @gomidsussex to suggest having a look at this site http://www.sussexfamilygrapevine.co.uk/midsussex/listings/toddler-timetable/. I know it’s really useful though to get personal feedback so we will keep looking for answers for you!

Hi, I have a 20 month old son and am also about to move to Haywards Heath! Very keen to find out what’s on for toddlers.

Hi Lindsay and Helen. I run a Toddler Group based at the Methodist Church in Perrymount Road, Haywards Heath on a Tuesday morning. We run from 10 until 11.30 during term time. The group is very friendly and we welcome children from birth until they move on to playgroup, nursery or school. If you would like to chat to me, please feel free to contact the Church office on 01444 416170 and they will pass on my details. 🙂

Hi Glenys, thanks very much for this. Do we need to book or is it a first come first served basis?

    Regards

    Hi Helen
No need to book, yes it is first come first served but we are usually able to accommodated everyone who comes on a particular morning. Be good to see you, I run the group alongside a lovely lady called Jill.

My boys are 8 and 11 now but I can happily recommend The Acorns in Lindfield if you are looking for nursery care. The Church groups are great at both All Saints and URC on Lindfield High Street. Gill at Grapevine magazine would be worth talking to http://www.sussexfamilygrapevine.co.uk/ 🙂

Excellent, recently refurbished, playgrounds at Claire Park, Victoria Park, Hickmans Lane rec, Lindfield Common and Barn Cottage. The librari also has lots of info. Hope you enjoy living here. We moved out of London 6 years ago and feel we’ve been able to allow our son more freedom that he would have had as a ten in London.
