Helpful reply from a twitter friend –
    “Hi Chris
The Tarka caravan park does long let caravans and is just outside Barnstaple http://www.tarkaholidaypark.co.uk/
There are many letting agents who could probably help too, Northwood are really friendly and helpful 01271 325 100 and this website has a list of landlords and letting agents http://www.northdevon.gov.uk/landlord_list.pdf
Good luck, Barnstaple is a lovely place to live”

Hi there Chris renting and finding your feet is a great idea for your move to barnstaple. Just outside our village is forest park lodge http://www.forestparklodges.co.uk who I know rent properties on a long term basis. Also you can look at Northwood letting agents in Barnstaple and they may have properties that are suitable before you decide where to base yourself. Not sure tha age of you partners children but our village high Bickington has a great school for under 11s

Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions. Best wishes Sarah
